After general elections car sales have shown signs of recovery in Telangana
Hyderabad: After a steep decline in 2013, car sales in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have shown signs of recovery after general elections. “In 2013, the auto industry had seen a negative growth of 12 per cent in undivdied AP. However, in the past four months, car sales nationally have grown at 7 per cent, indicating that the auto market in the two states is also in back on track,” said Ashesh Dhar, national sales head, Tata Motors. Speaking at the launch of Zest in Hyderabad on Friday, he said that the sedan segment has been growing at 17 per cent.
