Amit Shah gives tips to Telangana BJP
Hyderabad: Underscoring the need for the BJP to capture power in the GHMC elections, the state and city, BJP leaders on Thursday targeted the TRS-MIM combine for all the ills plaguing Hyderabad city.
Sources in the party said BJP national president Amit Shah, who held a series of meetings with party leaders and workers on the first day of his trip to Hyderabad, laid down the road map to the Telangana BJP for capturing power in the ensuing GHMC elections as well as long term plans for Telangana.
Telangana state BJP president G. Kishan Reddy blamed the MIM controlled GHMC for ‘destruction’ of Hyderabad city and various problems facing the people of the city including power cuts, traffic jams, bad roads, shortage of drinking water among other issues.
BJP national vice-president Bandaru Dattatreya asked party leaders to be cautious about the TRS government’s move to divide the GHMC into three corporations of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad. since the TRS-MIM combine would not be able to win in the present area. Mr Muralidhar Rao, BJP general secretary and several other BJP leaders spoke.
