Raghuveera Reddy demanded amendments in the budget
Visakhapatnam: Accusing Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of deceiving public for not providing anything on the poll promises in the annual budget that was released on Wednesday, APCC chief N. Raghuveera Reddy demanded amendments to it before it is accepted by the state Assembly.
Talking to reporters here on Thursday, Mr Reddy said since Congress doesn’t have representation in the state Assembly, party representatives would raise the budget issues in the Legislative Council.
“It’s nothing but deceiving public. There are no provisions on the poll promises of Naidu in the budget. On the 100 days programme also there is no clarity at all. Is the 100 days from the day he was sworn in as the Chief Minister? If so it’s already been 100 days or is it from now. Government should make changes to the budget,” he said.
A party workers meet is planned in the city on September 7 in the city where the focus would be on GVMC polls.
