The victims do not want to return to their village until they are ensured police safety

Barmer, Rajasthan: Two men raped two sisters after thrashing them in a village near Barmer district in Rajasthan, according to a report.
The young women aged 18 and 20 were on their way back home from the local police station.
The incident reportedly took place on August 16. The local police station agreed to lodge an FIR on their complaint only after they the intervention of a senior police officer.
According to their complaint, the sisters tried to fight back during which they sustained injuries including bite marks, they have said in their complaint.
The victims from Barmer did not want to return to their village until they were ensured police safety.
