Guwahati: Assam CM Tarun Gogoi on Wednesday said that he doesn’t want any favour from the media but it should be fair at least in reporting the incidents.
Accusing that a section of journalists are showing the half-truth of Assam-Nagaland border conflict, Mr Gogoi said, “I am narrating the whole incident that resulted in police firing, Assam police on Tuesday went to rescue nine police personnel of an escort party who were taken hostage by protestors on August 15. Before using force, police tried to persuade them to release the hostages at least for four days,” said Mr Gogoi .
