Film glorifying former PM Indira Gandhi's assassins unfortunate, says Congress
New Delhi: Congress leader Rashid Alvi said Thursday that glorifying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassins through a film is unfortunate and should be placed in the category of restricted viewing, if at all, by the government.
Alvi said, "The Intelligence report and what is being told about that film, indicates that it glorifies the assassins of Indira Gandhi. It is very unfortunate that the murderers of a Former Prime Minister are glorified. It will also send out a message to the nation that if you kill a person, people will then appreciate it. This should be restricted and the government should take immediate action against this."

Congress leader Amarinder Singh said, "There shouldn't be any provocation. The censor board should've looked into this".
However, Manjit Singh GK, president of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) said, "I haven't seen it, but maybe it reflects the anger of our community".
A Punjabi film, Kaum De Heere, allegedly portrays the assassination of Indira Gandhi.
