Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s shenanigans off screen are as engaging as the performances he delivers on screen. And given the interesting person that he is, his off-screen life invariably makes more news. The actor is always at the receiving end of questions about his personal life which revolve around his equation with his former and current love interests.
Recently, during the promotional interactions of his new ad film, Ranveer was quizzed about patching up with former girlfriend Anushka Sharma. The two were in Barcelona for the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do and seemed to be getting along. It was heard that Ranveer and Anushka have decided to put the past behind and move on. Usually the actor fields these questions rather sportingly in his own quirky style. This time, however, things were different.
An eyewitness says, “I think Ranveer was in one of his rare bad moods. He snapped saying that the media is delusional and that there was never any fallout with Anushka. Everyone in the industry is aware of the cold vibes between the two after they broke up. Being diplomatic and snapping won’t really change the scenario.” Ranveer didn’t stop there. He repeatedly accused the reporter of being “irresponsible”. “His reaction came as a shock to everyone present at the studio,” says an eyewitness.
Even though such behaviour is very rare, it has happened in the past also. At an awards function, he had walked the red carpet with a grumpy face after he was quizzed about his current girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Ranveer is loved for his honesty that sets him apart from his politically correct counterparts. But alas! That was then and this is now.
