Akshay Kumar takes the Ice Bucket Challenge, nominates Salman Khan

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar is the latest celebrity to take up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The actor was nominated by his friend and ‘Housefull’ co-star Riteish Deshmukh. Riteish also challenged Sidharth Malhotra, Abhishek Bachchan, Ashish Chowdhry, and Pulkit Samrat.

Akshay is currently in Cape Town filming for a dance reality show titled ‘Dare to Dance’

The actor took up the challenge standing outside the studio where the temperature was approximately 8 degrees Celsius. With the help of the show’s contestants he completed the challenge and also nominated his wife Twinkle Khanna, Ashwini Yardi, Johny Lever and surprisingly Salman Khan.
