BJP President Amit Shah to visit Hyderabad tomorrow
Hyderabad: BJP President Amit Shah would arrive here on Thursday for a two-day visit during which he would have a direct interaction with the village unit chiefs of the party in Telangana.
Shah, who took charge last month, will address a meeting of party workers at Secunderabad on Thursday evening.
Telangana BJP would organise a reception for Shah since it is his first visit to Hyderabad after taking over the reins of the party, BJP said in a media release here on Thursday.
Shah would interact with the village unit Presidents of BJP in Telangana on August 22, it said. The saffron outfit had been a consistent supporter of separate Telangana demand and hopes to emerge as a major player in the new State, where TRS is in power currently.
The party has five MLAs in the 119-member Telangana Legislative Assembly.
