Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretaries meet on employees’ distribution
Hyderabad: Chief Secretaries of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana held a meeting on Wednesday and finalised the recommendations of a Centre-appointed panel on employees’ distribution.
The recommendations of the Kamalnathan Committee, appointed by the Centre on employees’ distribution post bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, were finalised in the meeting of Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao and his Telangana counterpart Rajiv Sharma, a senior official said.
The panel's suggestions would now go to the Centre for approval, he said.
The meeting between the two Chief Secretaries is a follow up to the talks between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao on the issue on Sunday last.
The Chief Ministers had decided to entrust the issue of employees’ distribution to their Chief Secretaries.
