Andhra Pradesh budget to cross Rs 1 lakh crore
In the budget, plan expenditure will be around Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 crore
Hyderabad: After the bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu will present the first annual Budget for the financial year of 2014-15 on Wednesday in the Assembly.
The state annual Budget is likely to cross Rs 1 lakh crore and the government will reduce the plan budget and at the same time the non plan budget will be increased with a view to getting more funds from the Centre and Finance Commission. According to sources, the Budget deficit will be around Rs 20,000 crore.
The AP government has removed state development fund and Assembly Constituency’s development fund. In the Budget, there will be no new schemes except Anna canteens, NTR Sujala Sravanthi and enhancement of pensions from Oct. 2.
In the budget, plan expenditure will be around Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 crore and the non plan budget will be around Rs 80,000 to Rs 85,000 crore.
