Ranbir Kapoor becomes creative partner with online music streaming site

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor today joined hands as a creative partner with Saavn (South Asia Audio Vídeo Network), a leader in digital streaming for Indian music.

Ranbir will work side by side with the Saavn (digital music service) team on consumer marketing, ideation and production, business development and content.

"I am excited to be part if this venture. I will be helping to guide the brand, connect with next generation of music listeners and help build best music product in India," Ranbir said.

The digital music company, which boasts a catalogue of two million tracks from both India and US record labels, will be rolling out suite of new consumer-facing products and partnerships over the next couple of months, in which Ranbir's input and ideation will play major role.

Ranbir said that he felt fortunate to have worked with music maestro A R Rahman for his film 'Rockstar'.

The actor had made it clear that he will not sing in any of his films.
