Moto 360 accidentally goes on sale online, price, photos revealed
Motorola Moto 360, the much awaited Android wear smartwatch is yet to be unveiled after being announced at the Google IO 2014 earlier this year.
Android wear smartwatches are presently available from LG and Samsung, but Motorola was yet to announce the final launch of the Moto 360 smartwatch. While the smartwatches from LG and Samsung sport a square dial, Moto 360 is the only one with a round dial. This round dial variant makes the smartwatch look more authentic and smart, which is why many enthusiasts are waiting for the Moto 360 to be officially available.
Motorola is all ready to launch the Moto 360 early September. However, an online website, Best Buy, accidentally published the product’s details earlier than the official launch date. The shopping website revealed the price, specifications and the final look of the product earlier than the actual date. Either there was a mishap and it accidentally got published it on air while keeping the details ready for the launch date or it was a marketing stunt to create a hype before the products sees daylight.
The Motorola 360 is an Android wear accessory in the form of a smartwatch. It sports a smart-looking round dial, giving it an authentic wrist watch look. It sports a 1.5-inch round backlit LCD touch display with a resolution of 320x290 pixels and protected a Gorilla Glass 3. It runs off a Texas Instruments processor, features Android 4.3 (or higher), Bluetooth, voice activation, heart rate monitor, pedometer, and a lithium-ion battery pack. The Moto 360 features a steel chassis with leather straps and the Android wear is waterproof and dustproof. The price for the Moto 360 was revealed by the website as $249.99 (Approx Rs 15,500).
