Many residents in Telangana are worried lot as no enumerators visited their houses for the pre-survey
Hyderabad: Many residents in King Koti, Kapra, Neredmet, Kavadiguda, Ramnagar, Old City Masjid area, Aghapura are a worried lot as no enumerators visited their houses for the pre-survey. No checklists or pamphlets reached people in these areas, leaving them clueless about what documents were to be readied for the survey. Many who tried calling on the provided number: 040-21111111, which said that it was busy throughout.
Margaret Francis, Hod of social management at St. Francis Degree College for Women, and a resident of King Koti, said, “It is almost the survey day and none of the enumerators visited us. Considering the huge population, they several people have called and enquired.” A resident from old city, Geeta Prakash, also complained of enumerators not visiting. “Nobody had come till late evening on Monday. The number has been busy all day,” she said.
