Congress, YSRC demand capital talk in Budget Session

AP Legislative Council should take up discussion on Sivaramakrishnan Committee’s report
Hyderabad: Members from the Congress and the YSRC said the AP Legislative Council should take up discussion on Sivaramakrishnan Committee’s report on capital city in the ongoing Budget Session. The report is scheduled to be submitted before the Session ends.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was present in the Business Advisory Council’s meeting, which saw the members raising the demands, admitted that the issue was important. But, the ruling party members were of the opinion that the capital city issue would side-track the main Budget Session. As a result, the BAC decided to leave it to the discretion of the Council Speaker A. Chakrapani to take a final call.
