Hyderabad: The Central Crime Station officials finished interrogating the accused in the espionage case, Naik Subedar Patan Kumar Poddar, on Monday. Poddar was taken into custody for seven days by the investigation officials. The officials have collected details about the classified documents he had shared with the suspected Pakistani agent.
Officials said that Poddar has confessed to all his crimes and has given specific information about the espionage. Poddar was attached to 151, MC/MF detachment, Secunderabad Railway Station. He was arrested by city police in the first week of August under Official Secrets Act.
