Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor is one of the lucky Bollywood stars among Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai to have a wax statue at the famous Madame Tussauds Museum, London.
The actress’ wax statue was unveiled in 2011, and was a replica of her avatar from the 2007 film ‘Jab We Met’. The actress got harem pants back in fashion with her signature look from the song ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’.
Kareena recently visited the museum as her statue had a major wardrobe change. From the famous ‘Jab We Met’ black ensemble, her statue will now be seen in an elegant scarlet red sari.
"It is an honour and a privilege to have my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds, and even more so to launch a global Bollywood exhibition. This is a moment of pride for Indian cinema," Kareena said in 2001.
