Andhra Pradesh budget session to end on September 6
Naidu adjourn the house till 6 sept following a request from KCR
Hyderabad: The AP Assembly Budget session, which will commence from Monday, will wind up on September 6, said Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly on Sunday evening, Dr Rao said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and himself had agreed to adjourn the house sine die on September 6 following a request from Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, during the meeting convened by the Governor, Mr E.S.L. Narasimhan, on Sunday morning at the Raj Bhavan.
“KCR said that the Telangana Assembly needed to be convened after September 6 and the Telangana Budget will be presented on September 10. Ganesh immersion and security concerns were also taken into consideration. We had initially intended to continue the AP session till September 12 but in view of the request, we have agreed to wind up it on September 6,” he said.
The Telangana CM had requested that there should not be any overlap of Sessions.
