Mumbai: Nargis Fakri who says Varun Dhawan is no more than a “good friend” was seen getting too close for comfort with him at a party held on Sunday night. Their relationship status appear confused as they have neither confirmed not denied being involved romantically. A source present at the party says, “Their chemistry was so obvious. They looked extremely comfortable with each other and didn’t seem to care to underplay their camaraderie.” In the past, Nargis has been linked with Uday Chopra and more recently Southern star Rana Dagubatti. She has always maintained in her interviews that Varun is the only person from the industry she can relate to and call a “friend”.
Varun on the other hand is said to be dating his childhood friend Natasha. He has also been linked up with Alia Bhatt and Tapsee Pannu. We hear his father David Dhawan is not very pleased with his son’s Casanova image. “Varun has become the new age Salman Khan. Davidji has been instrumental in building the careers of many superstars. He understands the worth of success and expects Varun to focus only on his work,” says a close friend of the actor. Now if only sons were as obedient as their fathers expect them to be.
