Telangana Intensive survey: Cops, doctors exempted from survey: Official

Emergency services employees have been exempted from the survey
Hyderabad: Emergency personnel, such as doctors, ambulance staff, police and fire departments, have been exempted from the survey if they can furnish a copy of their ID card or a letter from their office though their presence is desirable, GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar said.
“It is not compulsory for emergency services employees, NRIs and inter-state migrants to be present during the survey. There are thousands from Telangana who have migrated to nearby states for employment. However, their parents, wife or relatives can furnish the details. Citizens need not panic for the survey is being done to identify the real beneficiaries of TS schemes,” said Deputy Chief Minister Md Mahmood Ali.
The joint action committee of TS autorickshaw drivers associations has called for a bandh on Tuesday. The South Central Railways will operate as usual, but all state government departments will remain closed.
“Since our staff has to be present during the survey, all Indian Oil petrol bunks across thes state will remain closed from Monday midnight to Tuesday midnight, while 99 per cent of all retail outlets of petroleum products will remain closed,” said TS Indian Oil Dealers Forum, general secretary Rajiv Amaram.
Schedule, Details of household survey
1. Pre-visit 1 on August 17 (Sunday) — check slips will be given and stickers will be pasted.
2. Pre-visit 2 on August 18 (Monday) — check slips will be collected and doubts to be clarified.
3. Intensive Household Survey on August 19 (Tuesday).
4. In case the enumerator or associate enumerator does not turn up for the pre visit 1 on August 17 till 7 pm (Sunday) citizens can call on 21 11 11 11 and furnish details like house address, ward and contact number, following which an official will be sent to the said address on August 18.
5. Timing for Greater Hyderabad is from 7 am-7 pm and for other districts is from 8 am-8 pm. However in Hyderabad, the timings will be extended in order to cover all the households.
6. TS have declared a state holiday on August 19 (Tuesday).
7. Documents to keep ready are: House water tap connection, property tax assessment, Gas /LPG connection, electricity bi-ll, bank account (bank, branch), Aadhaar card, caste certificate, birth certificate, disability (if any), Vehicle details (2 or 3 wheeler , air conditioned and registration number). Ration, voter and Pan ID card, land details, pension book. All questions have Yes or No options.
8. Sticker to include details like pre-visit 1 and 2 and the survey where officials will tick on the designated column as a proof of visit.
