Hyderabad: Malkajgiri, Roop Lal Bazaar, Mallapur-Kapra, Moosapet–Kukatpally and Hanuman Tekdi have been identified as different “employment zones” in Greater Hyderabad.

The GHMC launched an e-van on Saturday to collect resumes from unemployed youth and to connect them to suitable jobs, as per their qualification.

The GHMC claims it will offer 12,000 jobs by the end of December, free of cost. Candidates can get registered at the e-van, which is equipped with online/offline registration system or by giving a missed call to 040 71012014.

Hyderabad Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain said GHMC will call the candidates, who give missed calls to the number, and suitable job will be suggested to them according to their educational background, work experience etc.

“Free training on dress code, communication skills, and skill development will also be provided at the employment zones,” said GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar.
