Kalabhavan Mani in Drishyam Remake

Chennai: Kalabhavan Mani, who has been absent from Tamil films for a while, has now been cast in the Tamil remake of Drishyam, to reprise the role of Kalabhavan Shajon, a corrupt and brutal constable. Titled Papanasam, the film has Kamal Haasan playing the lead, with Asha Sharath donning khaki in the remake too. Sources say that pre-production work on the film is on in full swing, and the team is all set to go to Papanasam for the shoot.
