Hyderabad: The entire Nandamuri clan was present on Friday morning for Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s granddaughter, Mohana Rupa’s, wedding ceremony in Hyderabad, except for NTR Jr and his cousin and fellow actor, Tarakaratna.
Balakrishna, Harikrishna, Purandeswari, Bhuvaneswari, Kalyanram and other family members and friends attended the ceremony, which NTR Jr and Tarakaratna gave a miss. The actor was not present for Balakrishna’s daughter’s wedding last year too and Friday’s absence once again brought the issue into focus in film and political circles.
Recently NTR Jr had tweeted about his babai (uncle), Balakrishna’s health, and now he missed another babai’s daughter’s wedding.
“The family might not have sent invitations to NTR Jr and Tarakaratna for the wedding. They had distanced themselves from NTR Jr for political reasons, as he didn’t campaign for the TD. Differences between Balakrishna and NTR Jr might also be another reason. The reason for not inviting Tarakaratna is different as he had married wife Alekhya against his parents’ wish,” says a source. Interestingly NTR Junior’s father, Harikrishna, and his brother, Kalyan Ram, attended the wedding.
