New York: Is a selfie worth going under a knife? Apparently yes.
33-year-old Christa Hendershot, decided to go under the knife so that her engagement ring looks pretty on her hands for social media appearances.
She did not find her hands pretty enough with the engagement ring. So her visit to the dermatologist was about how to make her hands ‘selfie worthy’.
Within minutes of the hand rejuvenation procedure, Christa was happier about the appearance of her hands.
"The veins are not as blue," she was quoted as saying.
According to a news report by ABC 7 New York, She shelled out more than $3,000 for the filler procedure.
According to her plastic surgeon Dr Ariel Ostad, there has been an increase in the number of his clients who bring selfies into his office to point out their bodily flaws to him.
