Exynos 5430 is unique to the market because it supports high-resolution viewing, such as WQHD (2560 x 1440) and WQXGA (2560 x 1600), by using hibernation display and Mobile Image compression (MIC). Adaptive hibernation display technology with Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) command mode (CMD), orders and controls required tasks to Display Driver IC (DDI), reducing the power consumption when the display on screen updates. In addition, MIC compresses the data by half when transferring pictures and multimedia content from the AP to display, thereby maximizing usage hours when web browsing or running multimedia apps which require frequent screen refreshes.
