Telangana Survey to help set policies
Main objective of the survey is to have a macro picture of socio-economic conditions
KARIMNAGAR: In an effort to allay apprehensions regarding the Intensified Household Survey, in-charge collector Sarfaraz Ahmad said that the respondents would neither stand to lose out on existing schemes, nor would they get new benefits.
Mr Ahmad said, “The main objective of the survey is to have a macro picture of socio-economic conditions of households in the state and to draw statistical inferences while making policies in the future.”
He added “It is a baseline survey, not an enquiry.” The survey wouldn’t be linked with any other scheme, added Mr Ahmad.
