Nellore: Devarakonda Ashok, 32, a YSRC corporator has been arrested along with a friend for allegedly molesting a woman in a hotel room in Nellore on Monday evening.
The woman, who is a teacher, said she had approached Mr Ashok to bail out her husband, involved in a case.
The accused had also demanded Rs 50,000 from the victim.
The accused met the duo in the hotel room to hand over the money.
