Hyderabad:A hawala racket was busted and four people arrested by a commissioner’s task force, Central Zone team. Rs 43 lakh was seized from them. The racket has been on for one and-a-half years in the city and was controlled by a Mumbai-based racketeer, officials said.
The detained people include Bakul Kumar Patel, 34, a resident of Anandnagar colony, Khairtabad and a native of Gujarat. Jayesh Patel, 38, a resident of Boggulakunta, Abids, a native of Gujarat, Jog Singh Raj Purohita, 38, and Narpat Singh Rajput, 36, residents of Ashok Bazaar, Afzalgunj, natives of Rajasthan.
