Two more flights connecting Hyderabad and Bengaluru will start from October

Hyderabad: Vijayawada is all set to get two more flights from October which will better its connectivity with Hyderabad and Bengaluru, though road transport is more convenient, feel many. Gannavaram Airport director B.G. Patil said Spicejet is likely to operate two more flights from October from Vijayawada to Bengaluru and Vijayawada to Hyderabad on daily basis. So far, there are five arrivals and departures in Gannavaram.
“One has to go to Shamshabad Airport from the city and then wait for the flight. Then, from Gannavaram it will take time to reach Vijayawada. Altogether, it will take at least four to five hours, while by road it takes around 3 hours to reach from Hydeabad to Vijayawada,” said S Suresh, an industrialist.
