AP Criminal Investigation Department to investigate the case of unauthorised and bogus agencies

Hyderabad: The AP Criminal Investigation Department has been asked to investigate the unauthorised and bogus agencies, which are luring people and sending them to the Gulf countries without proper work visas.The government has written to the CID to initiate inquires, information technology minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy said on Tuesday. The AP government will soon upload a list of authorised agencies, agents and brokers.
The AP government has also written to external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to ensure that the Indian Embassy take up the cause of the 250 people from Andhra Pradesh with the Uzbekistan government. The 250 AP natives are stranded in that country and the AP government wants to ensure their safe return. Mr Reddy said the government is making all arrangements to bring back all the 250 people.
