Chennai:Ratan Tata, the doyen of corporate India, was all praise for the close-knit family business community in southern India as much as he insisted on Indian firms staying together and celebrating the success of each other. He underlined the need for a collaborative effort between industries and government to help India draft a global corporate success story.
In his address after receiving MMA Amalgamations Business Leadership Award in Chennai the emeritus chairman of Tata Sons said, “Being in Tamil Nadu brings to mind that this state has the establishment of finest industries; a community built on values, technology and knowledge passed on from generation to generation.”
