Seemandhra employees to boycott the Intensive House-hold Survey conducted by Telangana government

Hyderabad: Seemandhra employees in Secretariat have decided to boycott the Intensive House-hold Survey being conducted by the Telangana State government on August 19 across the state.

The Telangana government has assigned survey duties to Seemandhra employees working in Secretariat, irrespective of whether they are working for Andhra Pradesh or Telangana along with 4 lakh Telangana employees.

The Andhra Pradesh employees said they would not attend the survey duties assigned by the Telangana government as it was not willing to continue with Seemandhra employees in Telangana.

Seemandhra employees working for the AP government in Secretariat expressed their ire at the Telangana government questioning what right it had to assign them survey duties when they were working for Andhra Pradesh and were not employees of the Telangana government and did not have to follow orders.
