Hyderabad: The Telangana government is upbeat with the Supreme Court’s observations that it was not inclined to intervene in the issues of nativity of students and the fee reimbursement scheme (FAST).
When counsels of the Andhra Pradesh government brought the issue to the notice of the court on Monday, the judges replied that they would look into the issue as it was not before them.

This paves the way for the Telangana government to issue guidelines for the Financial Assistance for Students of Telangana scheme, which was kept on hold as the government was waiting for the court’s ruling on EAMCET counselling.
Clarity needs to be given before commencement of the certificate verification process as to who is eligible for the scheme.
