Man who returned from Nigeria not diagnosed with Ebola
Hospital authorities dismissed the case as a false alarm, man suffering from diarrhoea
Mumbai: In yet another case, where the man who was admitted to a hospital in Vasai with the symptoms of Ebola, was discharged on Monday and the case was dismissed as false alarm.
The patient who recently returned from Nigeria was apparently suffering from diarrhoea for the past 3-4 days, which is why he might have felt that he was suffering from Ebola.
Meanwhile, the health officials from BMC mentioned that the civic body has kept ten beds each at Jogeshwari Trauma hospital and Kasturba hospital in Chinchpokli to treat any possible patients in future.
The hospitals authorities have said that they are fully prepared to tackle such patients and arrangements have been made to admit people if any such case arises in future.
