Hyderabad: Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is a happy man these days as his son Srinivas’ debut film, Alludu Seenu, is a hit. “I am happy that my son’s debut film is in the Rs 40-crore club,” says Suresh. He adds that generally producers do not risk a newcomer and “that’s why I produced my son’s film and now he has proved that he can pull the crowds”. Suresh adds that the film has faired better than what he had expected. “This was a big-budget film and people had warned me, but I wanted to take the risk as it was my son’s film. I am happy to have spent lavishly on it,” he says.
Suresh adds that his next film will be directed by Boyapati Srinu. The film will be launched on August 27. “If I get a subject like Dhoom (the Bollywood movie), I will make a film with my son in the near future,” he says.
