Hyderabad:A 19-year-old boy and his sister were killed in a road mishap at Yellareddygudem in Narketpally in Nalgonda district on Sunday. They were going to a relative’s place to celebrate Raksha Bandhan.
According to the police, Dhanamma, 35, and her daughter Mounika, residents of Suryapet went to Dhanamma’s brother’s house in Yellareddygudem to celebrate rakhi festival. From there with her nephew Venkanna, 19, Dhanamma, along with Mounika, left for her another brother’s place who lives in Urumandla on a bike.
While they were crossing the road, a rashly driven car, coming from Miryalaguda to Hyderabad, rammed into their bike. Mounika and Venkanna died on spot, while Dhanamma sustained injuries.
