Hyderabad:Cyberabad police conducted another massive search and cordon operation in city. Around 450 police personnel, including top officials, conducted the operation in the early hours of Sunday at Ramnagar Colony, Wambay Colony, Rajiv Gruhakalpa and Laxmiguda village under the limits of Pahadishareef and Mailardevpally police stations. The police took nine people into custody along with 17 bikes, 2 autorickshaws, and a car.
This is the third operation, conducted in the style of an anti naxal cordon and search operation in urban areas. Cyberabad police commissioner C.V. Anand launched the operation following the state government’s decision to provide a sense of security to the people with world class policing. The police started zeroing in on places where several migrants are settled on the outskirts, since chances of criminals lurking in those areas are high.
