Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu invites KCR to talks to settle issues

AP and Telangana are in a face off for the student fee reimbursement issue
Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the TDP government would support Andhra students to pursue education. He asked his Telangana counterpart to understand the situation and invited him for a dialogue on confronting issues that have been creating a rift between the two states.
“Telangana Chief Minister is saying he would compete with AP on development. However, Telugu Desam has proved to be instrumental in achieving progress in the state. Only because of such development has Hyderabad experienced huge growth in revenue," Mr Naidu claimed.
He said they had prepared white papers on industries, power, and others and now they are going to document repercussions of the state bifurcation. He said the paper would give a comprehensive scenario of Andhra Pradesh after division. He also informed that they had plans to set up an exclusive body that monitors providing drinking water to all areas across the state, which has been estimated to cost Rs 20,000-Rs 30,000 crore. He said around 14 ports are coming in the state and they would also play a crucial role in progress of the state.
