Mumbai: Some film stars are taking their obsession about their ‘look’ in films a bit too seriously.
Recently, Shahid Kapoor revealed that he was asked not to step out of the house as Vishal Bharadwaj and team wanted to keep his look in Haider under wraps.
While we wonder how a simple haircut can be termed as a ‘look’ in a film, we could not help but wonder what is so innovative, surprising or shocking about having a stubble and crew cut? It’s strange how the need for self-promotion inevitably leads to unnecessary hype.
We wonder if the strategy actually works for them and their films?
