New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham has a drilled bat following US Police drug check
The US Police drilled the bat suspecting it to be a tool to smuggle drugs
Mumbai: While the US security checks at the airport are strict is well-known, no one would have had to experience what New Zealand’s Jimmy Neesham had to.
The all-rounder was on his way to join Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League in West Indies. And that’s when the United States Police drilled the bat in his kit bag suspecting it to be a tool to smuggle drugs.
The bemused all-rounder tweeted this picture.
Imagine if your cricket gear went through America and they drilled holes in your bat to look for drugs... pic.twitter.com/oaxAFJAvSK
