Hyderabad: The Telangana State government on Friday created the Telangana Public Service Commission to take up recruitment drives in the government sector. Orders to this effect were issued, which came into force with immediate effect.
A separate PSC for Telangana was necessitated as the APPSC, of the former undivided AP, had gone to the residuary state of AP.
Immediately after assuming charge as Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr K. Chandrasekhar had written to the Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan for the formation of TSPSC.
