Hyderabad: Given the huge demand from the student community in both Telangana state and AP, the British Council has increased the test dates for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) to four times a month.
Earlier, it was held thrice. Meanwhile, marking 25 years of the IELTS, the fifth annual IELTS Scholarship Award ceremony was held in the city on Thursday.
Eight Indian students have been declared winners of the British Council IELTS Scholarship Award-2014. They will receive Rs 3 lakh to study in universities across the UK, Canada, Germany and the US.
