Libya crisis: 115 more nurses arriving in India

The contingent's onward journey to Cochin airport has not been scheduled

Kochi: A contingent of 115 nurses working in Libya started their journey from Tunisia at Indian time 5.30 pm on Wednesday and are scheduled to arrive at Delhi airport at 3.30 am on Thursday at a special Air India flight arranged by the Central Government as requested by the State Government. A total of 114 among them are Malayali nurses and 75 of them are males, 35 females and five children, According to NORKA CEO, their onward journey to Cochin airport has not been scheduled. Meanwhile a total of ten Keralite nurses landed at Cochin international airport by an Emirates flight on Wednesday from the strife ravaged Libyan capital of Tripoli.
