The opposition slams KCR for not consulting anyone before finalising the venue

Hyderabad: BJP state president G. Kishen Reddy questioned Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s rationale behind conducting I-Day celebrations at Golconda Fort.
“Who did the CM consult before finalising this venue? How did he arrive at this decision? Does he think this is a family affair?” said Mr Reddy at a press meet.
“This shows a feudalistic, anarchist and family rule mentality. The people of Telangana fought for a free state and raised slogans to free the region from the Nizam’s rule. How can something this be justified? September 17 must be declared as the Telangana Liberation Day and then other things must be sought,” he said.
