Neha Marda would be replaced from Doli Armaano Ki

Mumbai:Neha Marda first became a household name through her portrayal of Gehna in Balika Vadhu. While she left the show a while ago, she continued to experience small screen success thanks to her show Doli Armaano Ki. Recently, there were rumours that Neha would be replaced from the show. However, she has continued to shoot for it, and has denied that there were plans to replace her.
Asked if the rumours had bothered her, Neha admitted, “Yes, it bothers me even though I’ve been in the industry for a while now… We are human beings and anything said against us will surely affect us. I am no different. I try to be indifferent towards such things. I discuss such issues with family and friends and they are always there to make me feel better.”
While Neha’s character in Doli Armaano Ki is shown battling domestic violence, in real life, she has been happily married to Patna based entrepreneur Ayushman Agarwal. Since her work requires her to be in Mumbai, the relationship is a long distance one.
“It’s difficult trying to balance your life when you’re in a long distance marriage,” Neha agrees. “A personal life for me is more important than a professional one, hence I make sure I give it my all. I am also very lucky to have in laws who are ever so supportive of my work and have never nagged me about not being around with family.”
Neha says life hasn’t changed very much either after marriage, apart from “getting a new surname and a new house to live in”. “Marriage is beautiful, though I recommend that you get into it only when you are ready,” she adds. Are Neha and her husband ready for the next phase in their relationship? “I love kids!” the actress says. “As for when well, God has everything planned for us and it will happen when the time is right.”
