Finance Ministry clears 14 FDI proposals
The proposals will lead to inflow of Rs 1,528 crore into the country
New Delhi: Finance ministry has cleared 14 FDI proposals which will lead to inflow of Rs 1,528 crore into the country. The largest FDI proposal cleared is in pharma sector of Rs 600 crore by Laurus Labs Private.
In this, brownfield pharma company is seeking approval for additional FDI and non resident (NR) transfer by subscription and transfer of Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS).
The second largest proposal of Rs 485 crore was that of Golden Agri Resources (India) Private Limited. It has sought approval for downstream investment through subscription to FDI compliant instruments.
