Telangana makes room for Andhra Pradesh legislators in assembly
Telangana government has agreed to provide more space to Andhra Pradesh
Hyderabad: The contentious issue of sharing accommodation for the both AP and Telangana Legislatures in the existing precincts have been amicably resolved by the presiding officers of both the Legislatures.
The TS government has agreed to provide more space to AP. However, it will be an unpleasant moment for Dr S. Raja Sadaram, secretary for the Telangana Legislature to move from the existing office for the deputy Speaker of AP.
Leader of Opposition Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will get the room being used temporarily by the AP Legislature Secretary. Deputy Speaker of Telangana Mrs Padma Devender Reddy will continue in her chamber in the old Assembly building, though the building belongs to AP.
Similarly, a few chambers in the new Assembly building for AP ministers due to space constraint in the old buildings. The present CLP office was also divided with the ground floor going to AP and first floor for Telangana.
