Andhra Pradesh move on power ill-timed, says Telangana CM
Andhra Pradesh has stopped power generation at 2 Thermal Power Plant
Hyderabad: Fresh controversy has erupted over power sharing between the two states as Andhra Pradesh has stopped generation at Vijayawada Thermal Power Station (VTPS) and Rayalaseema Thermal Power Plant (RTPP) Muddanur.
While AP maintains that the plants have gone for normal overhaul as per the yearly schedule and the timings have been decided at the chief engineer level, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has alleged that the overhaul has been timed when Telangana is reeling under a huge shortage.
