Ebola outbreak scare in Britain

Fears of an Ebola outbreak in the United Kingdom intensified this week
London:Fears of an Ebola outbreak in the United Kingdom intensified this week after a passenger from an airplane flying via Sierra Leone, died at Gatwick airport. It has been revealed that the 72 year old woman vomited and collapsed after she left a jet arriving from the West African country of Gambia.
British officials immediately carried out tests on the sick passenger and the results have returned negative. The jet that was carrying the woman had a total of 128 passengers.
“We’ve all seen how many people have died from Ebola, especially in Sierra Leone, and it’s terrifying. The woman was sweating buckets and vomiting. Paramedics arrived to try to help her. The next thing everybody was there… emergency crews, airfield operations, even immigration,” a member of the emergency response team was quoted as saying in a report by Britain’s Daily Mirror.
It has been revealed that the flight landed at Gatwick on Saturday morning via stops in Freetown, Sierra Leone and Banjul in The Gambia. There is currently no clear cure for Ebola, which spreads through close contact. It kills between 25 and 90 per cent of its victims.
