Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief to move EC, if poll sops not given

PCC chief urged CM to pick capital only after consulting all political parties

Ongole: PCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy warned that if the Chief Minister N. Chandrabau Naidu failed to keep his poll promises, he will complain to the election commission. Mr Naidu had assured the EC that all the poll promises would be implemented as the party prepared the election manifesto only after considering the fiscal situation of the state.

The PCC chief urged Mr Naidu to pick the capital for AP only after consulting leaders of all the political parties. “I will not tolerate it, if the Chief Minister takes unilateral decision in this matter. He is trying to influence the Sivaramakrishnan Committee in deciding the capital,” he said. “The Congress will continue its agitation, until all promises are kept,” added Mr Reddy.
